25th Annual Taste of MainStreet Coming to Downtown Encinitas Aug. 19th

Strolling through downtown Encinitas, past the myriad of diverse restaurants filling the air with the tempting smells of their freshly prepared foods, it's a challenge to resist the urge to stop and grab a bite to eat at every single one of them. Now, you may not have hold yourself back any longer. On Tuesday, August 19^th from 5:30 – 8:30pm, the Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association will be hosting the 25^th annual Taste of MainStreet.

The popular summertime event, which has drawn thousands of visitors in previous years, aims to serve as a showcase of all of the great dining and entertainment options that can be found in downtown Encinitas. This year, attendees will find samples from over thirty different area restaurants lining the streets of Highway 101 from Encinitas Boulevard to K Street. There will also be seventeen “Sip Stops” offering adults twenty-one and up the opportunity to taste a wide variety of beers and wines.

On top of all of the delectable treats and delicious drinks, there will be multiple venues throughout downtown hosting live music for your enjoyment.

Advance tickets for the event are available for purchase from Encinitas 101 for $35 while quantities last. If there are any tickets left on the day of the event, they will be able to be purchased on-site for $45. Tickets for tastings are “per person” and sharing is prohibited, except by children under the age of twelve who are permitted to share with a paying adult.
