Winter is almost over and to kick off the changing of the seasons, the City of Encinitas is planning to hold its annual Spring Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4th at the new Encinitas Community Park. A popular local event every year, the Encinitas Spring Egg Hunt offers separate hunts for different age groups, a variety of other activities for children, and of course, tens of thousands of hidden eggs.

Egg Hunt Times:

  • 2 Years Old & Under – 10:15am
  • 3 Years Old – 10:45am
  • 4 & 5 Years Old – 11:15am
  • 6 Years Old & Over – 11:45am

In addition to the scheduled egg hunts, there will be plenty of other activities for the entire family to enjoy, including arts and crafts exhibits, face painting, bounce houses, live entertainment, and a number of giveaways and prizes. The event will run from 10:00am until 1:00pm.

Children are encouraged to bring their own baskets or bags for collecting eggs.

There are five separate parking lots at the Encinitas Community Park. Overflow parking will also be opened up at the lower parking lots of the Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas, with lot entrance off of Devonshire Drive.
